Project Management Information System (PMIS)

The main personnel of the company has been engaged in information management for years and has been undertaking national projects including the development of Project Management Information System for Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MOST), National Development and Reform Commission, Beijing Municipal Government and other government departments since 2005. The company has accumulated abundant experience in analyzing business demand, responding the modification to require flexibly, etc. At present, the project management information system developed by our company has covered the whole procedures from the project application, preliminary screening, expert's evaluating, online meeting, midterm checking and to the final acceptance, and the system can simultaneously realize the control over project database, expert's database and the management of expert's credit.

To better meet the flexible demand of the management, we have developed the self-defining system of project management based on that the work flows, the users can define different management procedure for the project of every type, avoid the code rewriting when making the necessary change of the management procedure.

Also, we have developed the message and mail platform in the Information System, to report the relevant information timely to the persons in charge of the project.

Data Submitting and Management

The data submitting and management is the prerequisite that the management information system can be operated normally. The submitting systems which we have developed are two kinds of system framework, Browse /Server Mode and Client/Server Mode. No matter which kind of framework be used, the data report system we developed can insert the picture, form, and formula, and carry on the composing, printing in the system. The content to be printed out by means of watermark and the content filled in are guaranteed totally identical.

Inquiry, Statistics and Report Forms

The function of inquiry, statistics and report form is the essential component in the management information. Among the management information systems that our company developed, the user can customize terms of inquiring, statistical way and output way, As to the display of the statistics, the user can follow the actual conditions and choose to express in straight ways such as the cake picture, column picture, etc. that in order to increase the expression of the data. Hereinto, the statistical methods can be switched over freely, statistical ways can be adjusted automatically, and the statistical results can be added up automatically. For analysis of basic data, the system allows taking multiple dimensionality comprehensive consideration to meet different administrative requirements, and can help the user to obtain an in-depth understanding to the whole work.

In addition, the inquiry and statistics system can implement the control of the visit authority for the information according to users' role, and realize the inquiry and the statistics in the arbitrary definition condition, also can perform the statistical functions of user-defined grouping terms，furthermore discretionarily specify output format of data to realize most general inquiry and statistics functions.

Website and Information Issuance

Our company owns a website development team composing of professionals in software development and test, and art design and uses the technologies such as .Net, Java, Ajax to develop the websites. The technology can conveniently fulfill the dynamic management to website's column, content, can realize at the same time the statistics of the visiting time distribution, visitor source distribution etc. so that can make relevant adjustment of website's content. In order to contact with the relevant system personnel, we have also developed the message and mail platform in the Information System; which can transmit relevant information in time to the experts and the persons in charge of the project.

Information Retrieval and Analysis

Information retrieval and analysis technology based on ontology is a newly-developed research direction in this field; the research is expected to well solve the main problems that traditional retrieval technique faces, and to finally realize the communication spontaneously between people and computer. In this field, our company has been undertaking the national international scientific and technological collaborative project "the research on key technologies in the scientific data sharing based on knowledge management”, to work with Fraunhofer Institute for Information and Data Processing (FhG-IITB) of Germany to do the research on the information retrieval and analysis technology based on ontology, to construct the field ontology and to develop the data management tools and user demand analyzing tools. So far the study has already obtained prominent progress.
